Delhi reports 29 positive cases of coronavirus
Second consecutive day of over 400 cases
Active case tally now stands at 6,120
The national capital of Delhi has reported 29 positive cases of coronavirus as of March 23. This is the second consecutive day that Delhi has recorded more than 400 cases of Covid-19. On Sunday, the national capital registered 429 new cases.
The active case tally now stands at 6,120 and the cumulative Covid cases has reached to 20,29,151. On Wednesday, the city recorded six deaths due to Covid-19, taking the total number of fatalities to 26,184.
India reported 58,097 cases on Wednesday, a six-fold rise in a week that experts say is fuelled by the Omicron variant.
